Foot Spa and Reflexology

A livelihood skill training on Foot Spa and Reflexology was held at VOP, which was made possible with the help of spouses Ferdie and Beth Hezeta as trainers. Foot Spa and reflexology kits were distributed after the training that enables the trainees to start their new business. The kits are sponsored by friends from the United States, Nancy Wright and Marilyn Grouss.

Through this training, a small group called CARE GROUP has been established composed of eight (8) initial members. Most of them are now professional therapists applying what they have learned and making a living from it. The group’s effort is geared towards building a fund, which will be used to venture into a small business.

VOP aims to provide three more trainings before the year ends: (1) Small-scale Business Management Seminar, (2) Meat Processing and (3) Organic Gardening. The organization prays for volunteers who would be trainers for these trainings and partners who will support financially to make the trainings possible.
